Brothers in Arms

Two pairs of allied Warbands battle for control of an important stretch of No Man’s Land.
Forces
No special restrictions apply to the models the players can include in their Forces in this scenario.
Multiplayer Scenario:
Brothers in Arms is a multiplayer scenario that can be played by four players.
Battle Teams:
After the players have picked their Forces, they must split into two Battle Teams, each comprising two of the Warbands. At the end of the game, the players from the Battle Team that has the most Victory Points are the joint winners of the game, and their opponents are the joint losers.
The players can either agree which Warbands will be in each Battle Team, or they can make a draw, and the Warbands for the player who wins and the player who comes second will go in one of the Battle Teams, while the players who come third and fourth go into the other Battle Team.
Models belonging to the same Battle Team are treated as friendly models, while models belonging to the opposing Battle Team are enemy models. The only exception to this is that Abilities, Battlekit, and Skills that can be used to affect a friendly model can only be used on models that belong to the same Warband; they cannot be used to affect models from the other Warband on their Battle Team.
Alignment (optional):
Before the game starts, the players can agree that Battle Teams can only be formed between Warbands that have the same alignment.
The Battlefield
The players make a draw, and the winner sets up the terrain for the game. This scenario uses the No Man’s Land battlefield archetype and requires a battlefield that is 48” by 48”.
Objective Markers
The Markers shown on the map represent important objectives. One Objective Marker is located at the centre of the battlefield and one is located at the centre of each of the four quarters of the battlefield, as shown on the map. When you set up the terrain pieces for this scenario, you must place the first 5 terrain pieces so that they are covering the locations where the Objective Markers will be set up. In addition, you must use Ruined Building terrain pieces if you have them available. The Objective Markers are set up after all the terrain. Place each Objective Marker anywhere on the terrain piece that covers its starting position; the whole of the terrain piece is treated as the Objective for this scenario.
Controlling Objectives
A Battle Team controls an Objective terrain piece if there are more friendly models than enemy models on, in, or within 1” of the terrain piece. If one Battle Team has any models on the terrain piece and the other Battle Teams does not, then the Battle Team with models on the terrain piece controls it even if the other Battle Team has more models within 1” of the Objective.
Deployment
The players make a draw. The winner of the draw chooses which half of the battlefield their Battle Team will deploy in. The opposing Battle Team will deploy on the opposite pair of Deployment Zones.
The player who won the draw then picks which of the two Deployment Zones in their half of the battlefield will be theirs and deploys their Warband so that all the models are wholly within the Deployment Zone. Then the player who came second in the draw chooses an empty Deployment Zone in their half of the battlefield and deploys their Warband, and so on. When all the players have deployed, the first Turn of the game can start.
Infiltrators
Infiltrators can deploy normally or by using their special deployment rules.
Game Length
This scenario lasts four Turns.
Victory Conditions
A Battle Team wins this scenario immediately if both opposing Warbands have fled (typically due to failing a Morale Check). Otherwise, the players from the Battle Team with more Victory Points at the end of the game are the winners.
- At the end of each Turn, each Battle Team scores 2 VPs for each Objective they control.
- At the end of the game, each Battle Team scores 1 VP for each Glorious Deed they completed.
