The Malian Scouring

The gilding that lines the hallowed shrines and profane altars of Europa owes its origins to the Sahelian trade. Raw and refined gold move through the Sahara and across the Mediterranean into Faithful hands, but these supply lines are often compromised by the unrelenting pressure of Mammon's warriors. Mounted scatter teams recently struck a trade caravan, dispersing it into contested lands across North Africa. Court ritualists swept the lands with Hellspawned plagues that rivalled biblical Egypt, leaving countless transports unprotected by anything other than the dehydrated husks of former personnel. Now, Faithful and Hellish warbands chase the lost wealth on expeditions funded by their patrons, who follow the rumors of uncovered Timbuktu Manuscripts... The Malian Scouring is the story of your pilgrims, heretics, soldiers, thralls, faithful, and hellbent in the battlefields of 1914 Europa, North Africa, and the Middle East. It is up to you to define your warband, their history, motives, and who they become throughout the crusade. Your units will grow with experience, fall with injuries, and many will die. You will rise, you will fall, and the war will go on. This campaign is driven by narrative, so build some cool models, roll some dice, and have fun :)
