Welcome to the very first entry on the Trench Companion Developer Blog!

We’re excited to finally unveil what we’ve been quietly building over the past months: Trench Companion, a community-driven web app built to support the growing world of Trench Crusade. Whether you’re a seasoned veteran of the trenches or just assembling your first warband, our goal is simple — to make organizing, managing, and playing Trench Crusade smoother, faster, and more immersive.

What is Trench Companion?

Trench Companion aims to be a ressource, that provides essential tools for Trench Crusade players. In its first iteration, the app will include:

• Rule Compendium: All core rules and mechanics easily accessible, fully searchable, and always up to date.
• Warband Builder: Create and manage your own warbands, with support for faction rules, upgrades, and equipment.

And this is just the beginning. Our roadmap includes deeper tools like a campaign manager, a scenario tracker, using homebrew content and many more interesting features.

Built by the Community, for the Community

This project is entirely community-driven — built out of love for the game and the world of Trench Crusade. There’s no big studio or company behind this. Just a small team of passionate players and collaborators who believe in making something useful for everyone out there in the mud and ruin.

For a small monthly subscription fee, you can help cover server costs, development time, and future improvements. We plan to provide additional benefits for our supporters but at the same time, we don’t want to gatekeep any important content. Your support is completely voluntary. We’re committed to keeping this barrier as low as possible — and every bit of support helps us more than you might think.

First Release: Early August 2025

We’re aiming to launch the first public version of Trench Companion in early August 2025. This release will include the Warband Builder and Compendium, with the Campaign and Scenario tools following shortly after.
