Rainer speaks in song.
Once an accomplished musician that was called upon by prophetic visions just before his final show, Rainer now travels No Man’s Land with his band of misfits under the banner of St. Methodius in hopes to find his higher calling and true final show. He makes it a point to time the flow of battle making wondrous, or truly terrifying, melodies even adjusting the tempo to make up for failures or great successes his band makes during the fight. 3 shot burst of an auto cannon, the explosion of an anti tank hammer, and the screams of holy and unholy alike all blend together like instruments in a chorus. Followers in his band chip in with hums and chants while engaging in battle from the most elite unit to the most sinful prisoner. Fighting Gabriel’s War Dogs isn’t a battle more than it is a dance. One that always ends with Rainer thinking of how to improve while walking away from what’s left of both sides.
