Description

For almost a decade, the Defenders of the Iron Wall have been locked in merciless trench warfare against the Heretic Legion near the city of Batumi. With its oil fields endlessly on fire, the thick smoke pollutes the air and drives soldiers mad with never-ending coughs that echo through the night. In an attempt to break the stalemate, Silas Blackwood, Commander of the Dark Congration, leads a small force into No-mans Land, their mission to find holy relics that can provide vital to the war effort. The Iron Wall, ever vigilant, stands ready to repel them. Unbeknownst to the Heretics, a small force of New Antioch Soldiers, under the command of Atilla Aceleus, has long been spying on the Heretical camp, and now sees their chance to strike at their supplies. But the camp isn't as empty as it might seem... Amdara, the Unavoidable Decline of All, has long been feeding off the Heretic's camp, stealing wretched slaves and feasting on unlucky troopers that wander too far. And Amdara won't let someone just steal Their morsels. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Revelling in Their victory, Amdara immediately sought new plunder. Drawn by the Relics unearthed and protected by the Defenders of the Iron Wall, the Court launched a vicious attack that left most of the Sultanate's gathered supplies in ruins. Meanwhile, the Dark Congregation, having failed to secure the Holy Relics, retreated to their camp, only to be beset by the New Antioch forces that had previously fought the Demonic hordes of the Court. Trying to kill the leaders of the opposite force by any means neccessary, neither side managed to gain the upper hand, and both Warbands withdrew, bloodied but unbroken. ±+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ A thick, reddish smoke-cloud settles over No Man's Land, filling the minds of all with visions of blood and of victory. Some see endless slaughter and a wasteland of corpses, others see trinkets and icons that they are willing to go to any length to secure for their Patron. Lost in a nightmarish vista, they must now find any enemy they can, and fulfill the promise of their visions.
